How to Submit Recordings

This year, only ONE round of video recordings will be submitted.

Winners will be announced no later than Friday, April 9, 2021. If you are awarded first place, your competition video will be uploaded to the FSK Virtual Festival website.

In order to compete, please do the following:

  1. Make a VIDEO recording of your category’s repertoire selection. This video should be unedited and saved as an .mp4 file. Please make sure your video is performance ready as the winner in each category will have their competition video broadcast on the 2021 FSK Virtual Festival website. (When your video is sent to be adjudicated, the audio will be extracted and only audio will be sent to the judging panel for anonymity.) All performers in the Junior, High School, Collegiate, and Young Artist Soloist categories should submit pieces for flute solo, so no accompaniment will be needed.

  2. Share the .mp4 file no later than Friday, April 2, 2021 at 11:59 PM on Google Drive with allyson.rawlings@montgomery.kyschools.us using the file naming convention category_first_last or, for the chamber category, chamber_groupname. Example: JuniorSoloist_Allyson_Rawlings.mp4.
