The Flute Society of Kentucky is accepting proposals for Performers and Presenters for the 2026 Flute Festival. This Festival includes flutists of all ages and abilities and aims to inspire everyone in attendance. 

 

We are looking for diverse programming that reflects the varied interest of our members and the flute community, including but not limited to...

• presentations on pedagogy

• history

• figures in the flute world

• musicians’ health & wellness  

• performers of all backgrounds to play either solo or chamber works from any time period.

To Apply:

1. Submit the Call for Proposals Application Form by December 15, 2025.

2. Performers chosen to present/play at the Festival will perform the same selection submitted in the original proposal.  All participants agree to appear at the 2026 Flute Festival at their own expense.

3. Those who have been accepted to perform or present must register for the Festival no later than March 1, 2026.
