2026 Honors Flute Choir
Open to Jr. High School & High School flutists.
The Honors Flute Choir is an opportunity for outstanding high school (grade 9-12) and junior high (grade 6-8) flute students to perform at the festival with flutists from Kentucky and beyond. Students can be nominated by their band director or private lesson instructor for consideration for the High School or Junior High Flute Choir. Students who are selected must be available to rehearse with the ensemble during the festival in Bowling Green, KY on March 27-28, 2026.
How to participate:

Record a video of yourself playing either the High School or Junior High School placement music and scale, based on your grade level. Upload your video as an unlisted YouTube video. Share a link to your video with your band director or private lesson instructor, so they can include it in your Nomination Form. NOTE: This is NOT an audition! We will ONLY use this video to help us select the most appropriate part for you to play.

Ask your band director or private lesson instructor to complete the Honors Flute Choir Nomination Form.

We will reach out to you via email to confirm your participation in the Honors Flute Choir.
