The Honors Flute Choir is an opportunity for high school (grade 9-12) and junior high (grade 6-8) flute students to perform at the festival with flutists from Kentucky and beyond.

Students can be nominated by their band director or private lesson instructor.

Students who are selected must be available to rehearse with the ensemble during the 2027 FSK Festival in Highland Heights, KY on April 2-3, 2027.

​​​​​​HOW TO PARTICIPATE:​

1. Record a video of yourself playing the High School or Junior High School placement music, depending on your grade level. (COMING SOON)

2. Upload your video as an unlisted YouTube video.

   • Share the link to your video with your band director or private lesson instructor, so they can include it in your Nomination Form.

   • NOTE: This is NOT an audition! We will ONLY use this video to help us select the most appropriate part for you to play.

3. Ask your band director or private lesson instructor to complete the Honors Flute Choir Nomination Form.

4. We'll email you to confirm your participation in the Honors Flute Choir.

5. If selected, Register for the FSK Festival.
