The Flute Society of Kentucky is happy to announce that we are accepting proposals for Performers and Presenters for the 2020 Kentucky Flute Festival.  This Festival includes flutists of all ages and abilities and aims to inspire everyone in attendance.

We are looking for diverse programming that reflects the varied interest of our members and the flute community, including but not limited to presentations on pedagogy, history, famous figures in the flute world, and musicians’ health and wellness.  We are looking for performers of all backgrounds to play either solo or chamber works from any time period on a series of concerts throughout the Festival.

To Apply:

  1. Submit the Call for Proposals electronic form by December 20, 2019 (below).

  2. Performers chosen to play at the Festival will perform the same selection submitted in the original proposal.  All participants agree to appear at the 2020 Kentucky Flute Festival at their own expense. Travel information may be found on the FSK website at www.FSKentucky.net.

  3. Those who have been accepted to perform or present must pre-register for the Festival no later than February 1, 2020.
